Toyshop Emporium Shelf Sitter / Ornament – Illuminated *Finished Piece

Step into the charm of an old-fashioned European toyshop with this one-of-a-kind finished Toyshop Emporium Shelf Sitter / Ornament.

This is the original finished sample created and photographed for my DIY Toyshop Emporium Ornament Kit. It has been completely assembled, hand painted, detailed and illuminated by me, so the piece shown in the photos is the exact piece you will receive.

Designed to resemble a beautifully detailed vintage toyshop storefront, this miniature architectural piece features a dramatic black facade accented with aged gold details, a bright red entry door, an arched display window and a collection of tiny nostalgic toys arranged inside the shop.

The illuminated display window showcases a miniature train, dollhouse, sailboat, bugle and teddy bear, while warm interior lighting creates the inviting glow of a tiny toyshop after dark. The black, gold, red and ivory color palette gives the piece a classic old-world Christmas look while still allowing it to be displayed well beyond the holiday season.

A decorative antiqued brass hanger crowns the top, allowing the piece to be displayed as an ornament, while its freestanding design also makes it perfect for a bookshelf, mantel, cabinet, side table or tabletop display.

Because this is my original display/sample piece, slight variations and hand-finished imperfections are part of its character and help give the piece its aged, collected appearance.

This finished piece was created specifically as the photographed sample for the DIY Toyshop Emporium Ornament Kit and will not be recreated exactly the same way, making it a truly unique Rooster Cottage original.
