French Harvest Doorway Shelf Sitter – Illuminated - *Finished Piece

Fully Finished - French Harvest Doorway Shelf Sitter – Illuminated

Bring the charm of an old-world French autumn entrance into your home with this one-of-a-kind finished French Harvest Doorway Shelf Sitter.

This is the original finished sample created and photographed for my DIY French Harvest Doorway Kit – Illuminated. It has been completely assembled, hand painted, antiqued and detailed by me, so the piece shown in the photos is the exact piece you will receive.

Designed to resemble an ornate French stone doorway dressed for autumn, this detailed architectural piece features dimensional stonework, elegant French double doors, climbing foliage, stacked pumpkins and a miniature lantern. Soft illumination behind the door windows and lantern adds a warm, inviting glow and brings the entire scene to life.

The finish was created in layered neutral stone tones with subtle distressing and antiquing throughout to highlight the architectural details. Soft sage doors, warm autumn colors and gently aged finishes give the piece the look of a miniature European doorway that has been beautifully weathered over time.

Perfect displayed on a bookshelf, mantel, cabinet, side table or tucked among antique books, this substantial shelf sitter blends beautifully with French Country, European, cottage and collected interiors.

Because this is my original display/sample piece, slight variations and hand-finished imperfections are part of its character and help give the piece its aged, collected appearance.

This finished piece was created specifically as the photographed sample for the DIY French Harvest Doorway Kit – Illuminated and will not be recreated exactly the same way, making it a truly unique Rooster Cottage original.
