Bring timeless French Manor charm into your home with this exclusive Rooster Cottage Original DIY Pediment Kit. Whether displayed as a small over-door accent, above a framed print, on a shelf, or incorporated into furniture and decorative projects, this lightweight kit allows you to create a one-of-a-kind piece in your own style.

The pediment base is thoughtfully printed as two precision-fitting pieces with built-in alignment dowels. This design not only makes shipping more affordable but also makes assembly quick and simple. Simply apply a small amount of wood glue to the dowel holes and join the two halves together.

Once assembled, the center seam can easily be blended away using crackle paste, texture paste, lightweight spackling, joint compound, or your favorite decorative finishing medium before painting. After finishing, the seam becomes virtually invisible.

The included decorative mouldings are easily attached using wood glue, creating a strong, permanent bond while allowing you to customize your project with ease.

Every piece is professionally 3D printed in lightweight PLA, making the finished project lightweight, durable, and easy to hang while still providing beautiful decorative detail.

YOUR DIY KIT INCLUDES:

APPROXIMATE FINISHED DIMENSIONS:

Pediment Base: 18" W × 6.25" H × 0.75" D

ASSEMBLY:

1. Apply wood glue to the alignment dowels and join the two pediment halves together.

2. Blend the center seam using your preferred finishing medium, such as crackle paste, texture paste, lightweight spackling, joint compound, or a similar decorative finishing product.

3. Attach the included decorative mouldings using wood glue.

4. Prime, paint, glaze, distress, crackle, or finish however you like to create your own custom French Manor design.

PLEASE NOTE:

This unfinished DIY kit arrives ready for your creative touch. Paint, primer, crackle medium, texture paste, adhesives, brushes, glazes, and all finishing supplies are not included.

For best results, I recommend priming with Krylon Clear Matte Spray prior to painting and applying decorative finishes.

Due to the nature of 3D printing, minor surface variations may be present and are considered normal.
