DIY Christmas Through the Window Ornament Kit

Bring the warmth and nostalgia of Christmas into your home with this beautifully detailed 3D printed DIY Christmas Through the Window Ornament Kit! This vintage-inspired ornament creates the illusion of looking through an elegant window into a cozy Christmas home beautifully decorated for the holidays.

Display it on your Christmas tree, hang it from an ornament stand, or incorporate it into your seasonal décor. It also makes a wonderful handmade gift for family, friends, or anyone who enjoys creating their own Christmas decorations.

Finished Ornament Size: Approximately 5.5" H × 3.5" W × 1.10" D

Kit Includes

• Ornate Ornament Frame

• Backing Plate

• Antique Bronze Ornament Hanger

• Decorative Garland Trim (I added a touch of white paint for a snow effect)

• Image Printed on Rice Paper (approximately 4.25" H × 3" W)

A pre-drilled hole is included at the top of the ornament for attaching the antique bronze ornament hanger.

Assembly

• Apply the included rice paper image to the front of the backing plate using your favorite decoupage medium. Allow it to dry completely.

• Attach the backing plate to the back side of the ornament frame using Gorilla Super Glue Gel (used on the finished sample).

• Secure the antique bronze ornament hanger into the pre-drilled hole using the same Gorilla Super Glue Gel.

• Attach the included garland trim along the bottom ledge of the window frame using your preferred adhesive.

• Paint and finish using your favorite paints, antiquing glazes, waxes, or decorative finishes to create your own one-of-a-kind Christmas keepsake.

Please Note

• This is an unfinished DIY kit.

• Paint, glue, brushes, decoupage medium, ribbon, glitter, sealers, and other finishing supplies are not included.

• The finished sample shown is for inspiration only and is not included with the kit.

• For best results, I recommend applying Krylon Clear Matte before painting. I have found that it helps paint adhere better to the 3D printed surface while providing a smooth foundation for your finish.

• Each kit is printed to order and requires approximately 4 hours of print time.

• Please allow 2–3 business days for production prior to shipping.
